About us
The Sports Injury Clinic was developed in conjunction with the University of Manchester to provide a service for athletes participating in University sport. Since then the clinic has grown and is now providing Physiotherapy for students and University staff as well as members of the public.

Areej Elmaazi graduated with a BSc in Physiotherapy from Manchester University. She also holds a BSc in Sports and Exercise Science from Leeds Metropolitan University. She has experience working in both the NHS and private setting and also provides match side physiotherapy for the Northern Thunder Super League Netball team.
When she is not working Areej is busy attending postgraduate training courses and has recently obtained a BTEC Diploma in Sports and Remedial Massage from the London School of Sports Massage. She has recently completed a Diploma in Orthopaedic Medicine and will soon attend the Society in Orthopaedic Medicine Injection Module.

- 96% of people would return to the facility if they required Physiotherapy in the future
- 91% would consider recommending the facility to a family or friend
